Purpose
Provide a starting point for Membership Officers and connect them with resources throughout the Local Group Toolkit.
Role Introduction
The Membership Officer helps members feel welcomed, connected, and valued throughout their membership experience.
The Membership Officer helps members connect with Mensa throughout their membership journey. While responsibilities vary from group to group, most Membership Officer activities support one of two goals: helping members feel welcomed when they join and helping them remain engaged over time.
Everything else supports these goals. Focus on welcoming and retention—you do not need to do everything at once.
